The eBASIC Lite Compiler is
now ready for Release. This version of the compiler supports code
generation of up to 2K words, and supports the PIC™ 14-bit core
devices.
eBASIC Lite is a true
compiler - not an interpreter. eBASIC programs run many times faster
than their interpreted counterparts. eBASIC also provides direct
access to the underlying on-chip resources, like timers, interrupts,
PWM and ADC. eBASIC also supports inline assembly language.
eBASIC programs may be executed on
many different PIC MCU's. There is no runtime royalty or per-device
fee. eBASIC is very compatible with the Basic Stamp® 2 syntax. Many BS2
programs may be ported to eBASIC with only minor
modifications.
Support for eBASIC Lite is
provided via the eBASIC Support mail list. It is highly recommended
that you join this list.

eBASIC Lite, hereinafter referred to as "the software," is not free software.
Compubotics LLC grants to you a temporary license to use the software for evaluation purposes without charge on a single computer with one keyboard/display, i.e., a computer intended to be used by one person at a time for
non-commercial purposes.
Furthermore, you agree not to modify, de-compile, disassemble, decrypt, extract, or otherwise reverse engineer the software at any time or under any circumstances.
Compubotics software is under copyright and contains proprietary information belonging to
Compubotics LLC and/or its partners. It is understood that no right, title, or interest to any copyrights, trademarks or trade names of
Compubotics or its partners is granted or inferred by this license agreement.
All rights not expressly granted in this license agreement are reserved entirely to
Compubotics LLC, and this License agreement shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Texas in the United States of America.
THE SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE
